Description:
Third state, with all lettering, Hunterian Museum and Art Gallery, University of Glasgow and other repositories. A scene at the Café-chantant Vernet's situated on the Quai Henri 1V in Dieppe harbour. Sickert considered this one of his 'perfect etchings'.
David Strang printed 26 posthumous impressions (1945-47) for the Sickert Trust before cancelling the plate.
